TANDBERG has created a new class of easy to use products for companies seeking an in house integrated collaborative communications and management solution. Meeting Place users can schedule, conduct and support both point-to-point and multipoint meetings internally without going through a service provider or using expensive and complicated bridging technologies.

TANDBERG Meeting Place Solution allows meetings to be held either entirely via video or audio, or with a mixture of video and audio participants. Unlike existing centralised systems, the TANDBERG Meeting Place Solution is distributed and intelligent, which enables users to deploy several MCUs, both embedded and stand alone, in strategic locations. These units optimise usage based on cost and network availability resulting in a more reliable and flexible collaborative communications environment.
