6th May 2005

Internet Videocommunications has provided Western General Hospital with videoconferencing facilities to enable them to host the ‘Learning For Health Week’, which runs from the 9th-13th May 2005.

Events will include a video link with NASA to discuss the effects of reduced gravity on the human body and a video link to a surgery in Canada to see live keyhole knee surgery, and practical thinking techniques. North Somerset Academy manager Barry Howarth said: "Learning For Health Week aims to offer health and social care professionals the opportunity to find out about different types of learning methods and try them out."
